The personal growth and harmonious development of the individual are the goals of all our theater laboratories.
What are our emotions for? Emotions are a form of adaptation extremely important for human survival. Even unpleasant emotions are fundamental, necessary and very useful.
Managing emotions plays an essential role in the social life of the individual, in his relationships and psychological development.
The Emotions Lab aims to help children recognize and manage their emotions through theatrical play.

TARGET
Our courses are open to everyone.
Small groups of 8 to 12 participants, homogeneous by age.
Emozioni Lab is for kids at age from 5 to 9 years incl.
TIMING
The schedule is set in agreement with the teacher based on the needs of the group formed.
Emozioni Lab lasts about 8 months. Classes are held weekly for 3 hours with short breaks. Each hour is 60 minutes.
Online sessions are 2 times a week and last 1 hour.

PROGRAM of Emozioni Lab
Contents will be tailored to the needs of each participant and to the interests of the group.
In various stages of working kids create lines that will follow the script and material for the performance at the end of the course.
The program is divided into 3 parts:
First Part Exploring emotions
Kids explore and learn how to distinguish different emotions:

Knowing each-other; warming up the body and the voice

Breath awareness
-
Stimulating the fantasy and imagination

Creating imaginary situations to experience different emotions

Writing short stories about the emotions experienced

Second Part Expressing emotions
Kids spontaneously express their emotions through exercises, plays and improvisations.:

Facial expression and emotional expression
-
Masks: creating and drawing masks characterizing them with different emotions
-
Body: emotional posture, gesture, breathing and awareness

Voice: verbal and nonverbal vocal expressions (sound, rhythm, listening)

Space: expressing emotions in different spaces and situations
-
Relationship with the other: observing the reactions and emotions of the other and the group
Third Part Performance
Lesson on the emotions, exciting and fun for both the kids and the audience.
Performance in front of an audience and its preparation are the last phase of the journey in which kids learn to be responsible and to understand that one can have a fun by following the rules and respecting others.
Each kid chooses his Emotion:

creates the Character, its posture, gait, gestures, sounds and voice

paints his Emotion, creates its appearance, color and stage attributes
-
creates the stage costume of his Emotion
-
chooses the music related to the emotion, the feelings and the temper of the Character
