New Theater - NDK is located in the building of the National Palace of Culture, in the center of the capital, is a convenient location with very easy access.
New Theater - NDK includes in its repertoire well-known titles from the state and municipal theaters, as well as performances of independent artists and theater companies and young artists debuting in the theater art.
The theater has a comfortable, independent entrance next to the A3 entrance and a 191- seat hall with new and modern lighting and sound systems, as well as a designer cozy foyer.
The National Palace of Culture; abbreviated as NDK, located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is the largest, multifunctional conference and exhibition centre in south-eastern Europe. It was opened in 1981 in celebration of Bulgaria's 1300th anniversary.
In July 2005, the National Palace of Culture was proclaimed the best congress centre in the world for the year by the International Organization of Congress Centres.
The conference centre is equipped to host a variety of events, including concerts, multilingual conferences, exhibitions, and performance.
The building is set on 123,000 m², spread on 8 floors and 3 underground levels. NDK is built on an area of 18,300 m² and has a volume of 576,800 m³.
The National Palace of Culture has 13 halls and 15,000 square meters of exhibition area, a trade centre and a car park. The main, largest "Hall 1" has a capacity of 3380 seats.
